הנאי (חליל קנה סוף - נירי שדה) הנוגע ללב בצלילו האותנטי, המהפנט, במפגש עם גיטרה מודרנית עדינה ובועטת (מוש זהבי) השואבת ממגוון סיגנונות כגון פלמנקו וג'אז. כלי הקשה ים תיכוניים מסורתיים (בן דגוביץ') ושירה עצמתית משלימים מופע ‫מרגש של עיבודים ליצירות מן המזרח ויצירות מקור‬

 

התמזגות הוקמה לפני שנה ע"י נירי שדה ומוש זהבי על מנת למסד את השפה המוסיקלית שהתפתחה ביניהם לאורך חמש שנים של מפגשים אקראיים על הגלובוס. לאחרונה הצטרף אליהם אמן כלי ההקשה בן דגוביץ' המנגן על קשת רחבה של כלי הקשה ים תיכוניים.

 

נירי שדה אמן נאי החוקר מזה עשור את המוסיקה הסופית-עותמאנית, תורת המקאם והמבטאים המזרחיים על סוגיהם, הופיע והקליט עם אמנים רבים ביניהם יסמין לוי, מור קרבסי ואביבית כספי. לימד נאי באוניברסיטת ס.ו.א.ס בלונדון

 

מוש זהבי וירטואוז גיטרה, אוטודידקט, חוקר סיגנונות הנודד בעולם ולומד ממקורות אותנטיים בהם המוסיקה חיה. ר.נ.ב וג'אז בלונדון, מוסיקה טורקית באסטנבול, פלמנקו באנדלוסיה, ג'יפסי סווינג בבלגיה ומוסיקה צוענית לאורך הדרך

 

המופע נקרא התמזגות על שום טבעו - הגעגוע העמוק לנבוע מעומק העומקים ולמצוא שם חבר. חבר לסמוך עליו דרך בליל התחושות המתרגשות. בכל רגע מי מהנגנים יכול להכריז ולצאת אל הלא ידוע. ושם, צריך יד תומכת ואורך רוח לתת לנגן לברר את בירורו לצאת מהדפוסים, ואף לשקף את המראה הניבט בעיני רוחו.

The Ney (Turkish reed flute – Niri Sadeh) with it's authentic, mesmerizing sound, in dialogue with a modern guitar (Mosh Zehavi) inspired by a wide range of styles, such as flamenco and Jazz. Rhythmic Mediterranean hand percussion (Ben Dagovitch) and powerful singing completes an exciting performance of arrangements and compositions from the east along side original songs.

 

Ashiyan ensemble was formed a year ago by Niri Sadeh and Mosh Zehavi in order to capture their musical language that was developing in 5 years of meetings across the globe. Recently joined by percussionist Ben Dagovitch, playing a wide range of Mediterranean drums.

 

The name is taken from turkish poetry and means home of the nightingale. Nightingale is a bird that is frequently used in sufi poetry in the context of lover, or beloved. So – the place where you go when you are in love, or inviting a lover, and this is the nature of the show - the longing to emerge from the deepest places of our soul and find out that we are not alone. finding a friend to hand a shoulder amidst the vortex of emerging emotions. At any moment any of the musicians can declare and go into the unknown. There, a supportive hand and patience is required to allow the improvisor to find his inspiration and move out of his patterns, to reflect the sight in his spirits eyes.

 

Niri Sadeh

Ney artist and vocalist, investigates the makam theory and eastern accents of ottoman – sufi music for the past 10 years.

Performed and recorded with many artists as Yasmin Levy, The Israeli Turkish workshop,

and produces music for EMI London.

Thought Ney in S.O.A.S University in London.

 

 

Mosh Zehavi

Guitar virtuoso, self-taught composer and songwriter, A nomadic researcher of various styles who travels the world in order to learn from authentic sources where the music lives alongside it's living culture. His route Includes Funk Soul and Jazz in London, Turkish music in Istanbul, Flamenco in Andalusia ,Gypsy Swing in Belgium and Gypsy music all along the way.
